Pulsafeeder NextStep NS8 Stepper Motor Metering Pump

The Pulsafeeder NextStep NS8ASAKVVC3XXX combines a digitally controlled stepper motor with a PVDF liquid end for precise chemical dosing. Rated for up to 442 GPD (18.4 GPH / 70 LPH) at 43 PSI (3 bar), this standard 115V configuration uses FKM seats and O-rings with ceramic check balls.

Unlike a conventional solenoid-driven pump, NextStep controls the duration of both the suction and discharge strokes. This allows a smoother chemical feed and provides additional adjustment for applications involving off-gassing or more viscous fluids. Slow Mode adjusts suction stroke duration, while the color backlit display and dial interface simplify setup and show pump status.

Operating Modes and Controls

Choose constant output, proportional dosing using an analog or pulse input, batch operation, or daily and weekly timer functions. Standard inputs include 0/4–20 mA, 0–10 VDC, water-meter pulses, and remote start/stop. Low-tank-level monitoring and an alarm relay help operators identify conditions requiring attention.
